Director's Line

Welcome and thank you for visiting our Youth For Christ site!  Our desire is to provide you with an abundance of information regarding ministries and opportunities to serve.  I sincerely hope you will become or continue to be a partner in reaching every young person one at a time.

Our ministry continues to impact the Grand Forks area and our volunteers are developing and strengthening relationships that will be have an eternal significance.  Thank you to the many people who have supported us with your gifts, talents, and time this year.

In the past year, we have added two new ministry sites.  We moved into the space where teens in tough situations find themselves; the Juvenile Detention Center.  Starting in April 2016, we have been interacting with 11-18 year olds within the junvenile justice system.   We now have the capacity to spend up to six hours a day, six days a week playing games, talking life, listening, tutoring, and exercising with them.  We are still seeking volunteers who would like to make a difference in their lives and are willing to have their own life-changing experience.  Believe me, it is well worth the time and effort.

Additionally, we created a high school Campus Life club for students in Central, Community, East Grand Forks, Homeschool, Red River, and Thompson.  This takes place on Monday evenings at the Ember Coffee Shop 6:15 - 7:30 pm.  We believe this club is a great opportunity for us to hang out, share life and be in continual dialogue with students on issues, challenges, and truth.

If you or someone you know would like to come to a club or join us in an event/activity, please contact me.  Additionally I would like you to be a part of this experience this school year.  The way in which you do is to get involved and become a volunteer.  Please click on the "Get involved" tab and provide us with your contact information so we can get in touch with you.
