Building Time: PROJECT SERVE
Serving With The Heart of Jesus
PROJECT SERVE was a wonderful day where we shared the love of Jesus with our community! We met many new faces as we partnered with Hope Church, Holy Family, and United Calvary Pentacostal Church to serve Veterans as well as those in need. While there was no snow to shovel this year, we raked leaves, prayed over people, and led Veterans Day trivia at the Tufte Manor on Cherry Street! Teams returned to The Lighthouse for a pizza party, games, and story-sharing. Teens shared stories about rescuing a dog, getting to meet someone who just had her 100th birthday, and experiencing what it was like to go up to people's doors and ask if they wanted to be served and prayed over. Several teens shared their desire to return next year and serve those who have served us first. We hope next year we can serve even more Veterans as well as those in need! Thanks for all who came to serve for PROJECT SERVE!
