YFC Building Time
Power in Serving Others
Have you ever experienced how empowering it is to give away your time and talents to helping others? Not only do you help someone else who is in need, but you also realize you have a purpose to positively impact others on this earth. Often times, the world tells us that those who are the "GOAT" are those who are served. However, we believe Jesus' words when He remarks, "and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many," (Mark 10: 44 - 45). Jesus came to give His life for us so we can be set free, but we can use that freedom well by serving others in love. Additionally, we all experience the freedom of living in the USA because of those who served in the military to defend this country and its freedom. We can use that freedom to choose to spend our time helping others, especially those who have served us first! On Nov. 11th, YFC is hosting the third annual PROJECT SERVE event from 9:30 am - 1 pm. We want to invite you to join us! Check out below for a schedule and sign up!
