The Big 3

Summer 2023 is not over yet, but our big three events have come and gone! YFC Camp in June was powerful as teens were immersed in the truth and love of Jesus Christ. While we all enjoyed the fun of the waterfront, archery, etc., but the most meaningful moments occurred during appointment times with leaders, worship, the messages, and small group times where 2 boys surrendered their life to Jesus Christ and 6 boys, and 1 girl grew deeper in their relationships with Jesus. YFC Backpack Trip was full of adventure and growth as 5 teens trekked up and down the trails of George Crosby Manitou State Park, MN. Teens discovered more about themselves as they not only achieved skills they had never done before (like searching for wood to build a fire), but also as they learned more about the character of Jesus and what it means to have their identity in Him during evening and morning devotion time. Lastly, YFC Summer Bash was full of the joy of the Lord as 26 different teens from around the Grand Forks and Thompson area came together for a day of fun (brain, brawn, food, and water games all day long) in the summer heat and to listen to the testimony of Mrs. ND American, Jasmyne-Makeila Bradrick. Teens walked away from the day learning how to work as a team and hearing about how the forgiveness of Jesus is for everyone and how our identity can be rooted in Him as a son or daughter of God!
