THOMPSON CAMPUS LIFE IS ONE OF THREE CAMPUS LIFE MINISTRY SITES THAT HAS BEEN SERVING 6TH - 12TH GRADE STUDENTS SINCE 2013.

Where & When: Campus Life clubs (a program of Campus Life ministry) occur on Tuesdays at the Thompson Community Center from 3:30 - 5 pm.

What: Here, we gather to play games, eat snacks, and talk about real-life issues and topics teens face today. Some of the topics we dive into include: friendships, bullying, fear, identity, purpose, relationships, etc. Always caring for the mental, physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being of young adults, conversations are God-centered, compassionate, and honest.

Who: Any teen 6th - 12th grade is welcome, no matter his/her spiritual background or beliefs.

Above all, as Jesus loves us, we want to welcome all teens as their real selves and invite them into an opportunity to see who God is and what He says about us! Nonetheless, Campus Life club is a place where teens can wrestle through life's questions, be real, have fun, learn to serve, and be cared for by empowering adults in a welcoming environment.

"I am so thankful for my YFC (Youth For Christ) family!" - Corinth

As Corinth says best, Campus Life clubs can be more than a Monday event, and they are only the beginning of Campus Life ministry. Keep scrolling down for the fall 2022 Area High School Campus Life Calendar, the heart of Campus Life, and more!

HEART BEHIND CAMPUS LIFE

Campus Life, a program of Youth For Christ, is a non-profit organization that has been active in the USA for over 75 years. It currently has over 1,000 sites located across the country. Along with weekly clubs, trips, appointments, and monthly events, our meetings address life issues students face while relating them to Christian principles. Campus Life is relationally based by finding the importance of shared experiences between youth and caring, supportive adults to be indispensable. We place the primary focus on relationships and not programs. Campus Life is also holistically balanced, committed to helping youth as they wrestle with big and small issues they face while focusing on a balanced life (mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually). Finally, Campus Life is individually focused as we understand the journey of teen years is different for everyone. We are committed to coming alongside students, meeting them where they are, in order to help them navigate these years. We also have a vision to giving every young person in the Grand Forks region to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of a local church.
